27th October 2015 ICSR Team
In ICSR's News

ICSR and the Club de Madrid’s much anticipated Policy Dialogue on countering violent extremism starts today.

For the next two days it will bring together 400 participants from all over the world including 40 former Presidents and Prime Ministers, dozens of world leading experts and prominent civil society activists.

The conference will be inaugurated by His Majesty the King of Spain and close with a keynote address by the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon.

It will produce a powerful new approach towards countering violent extremism that combines the knowledge of experts, political know-how of former and current leaders, and the practical experience of activists who are on the front lines in the fight against violent extremism.
