Earlier this week I published an opinion piece in Israeli daily Maariv, in which I responded to journalist Ben Dror Yemini who attacked J Street, an American pro-Israel lobby advocating a two state solution. Yemini, like others in Israeli society, tends to categorise J Street as anti-Israel because of its critical stance on government policies and its clear call for a two state solution. It is important for Israelis to understand that American Jews supports Israel, but at the same time Israel must also accept their (sometimes critical) point of view.
