ICSR’s Spring 2011 Atkin Fellows presented their final research papers to a large audience at King’s College London.
Yael Patir, from Tel Aviv, Israel used her time in London to examine the Israeli-Palestinian peace process with a focus on the relationship between the government, policy and public opinion in Israel. Yael’s paper gives a unique insight into the current Israeli mindset, by looking at policy speeches and opinion polls.
Amany Soliman, from Alexandria, Cairo looked at the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership. Her paper highlights the fact that despite the economic cooperation that is encouraged by the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, prosperity is unlikely without progress at the political-diplomatic level.
