Insider Threats

Insider Threats

In collaboration with the Centre for Science and Security Studies (CSSS), another academic research centre within the Department of War Studies at King’s College London, ICSR is working to better understand insider threats as they relate to terrorist actors operating in core industries.

Our work analyses a selection of case studies based on past terrorist insider threats, and is working to identify preventative measures for implementation in a range of sectors, including nuclear power, aviation, and the Armed Forces.

Impact:

  • Aiding national critical infrastructure partners to identity insider threats;
  • Providing a framework for mitigating insider threats;
  • Codifying a system for how to address insider threats when they arise.
